In the field of round timber transport our chains are used in the most varied sub-processes. Drive chains and conveyor chains transport the round timber in the infeed log conveyor, root reducer, the cap saw, debarking, in the sorting line, in the block transport line and during log turning.

In the log yard, KettenWulf conveyor and drive chains are used in different processes such as the log infeed conveyor, root reducer, trimming station, sorting strand and log turner. 

The requirements on our products in these applications are extremely high and as different as the individual production steps of wood handling. 

The quality of our products not only allows for longer maintenance intervals, but also guarantees an optimal service life.

Chip transport takes place in different work processes within wood processing and finishing. Excess chips are transported during root reduction, in the cap saw, during debarking, in the sorting line, in the block transport line and during board sorting and board storage, using a chip conveyor.

Our chains are also used in the recycling industry, for example to supply the combustion process with fuel. Given our longstanding experience in the wood industry, all chains are tailored optimally to the required tasks.

We supply the corresponding sprockets for all chains in the timber industry. In addition to sprockets with DIN toothing, our CNC machines can also produce sprockets with optimized tooth shapes and milled surface qualities. Designs in high-quality materials, tempered and with additional induction-hardened teeth are part of our standard production program.

Our production range includes all types of sprockets, such as sprockets with hubs on one or both sides, split sprockets, sprockets with bolted-on segments or tooth shells, shear bolt sprockets, drive sprockets and noise-damped special sprockets as well as non-toothed, hardened drive and tensioning sprockets for chain bucket elevators.
