How to apply for a job at KettenWulf

The start of an apprenticeship begins with a good application. There are two ways to apply to KettenWulf: the traditional way by post or digitally. The digital route is particularly easy – you can upload all documents to the website as PDF files. There are structured input fields to ensure that nothing is missed.

There is a clear trend towards online applications, as they can be processed more quickly and easily. It is important to compile all documents in a single PDF file. The email itself should be brief and concise, without repeating the content of the application itself.

What is important?

School grades play a role of course, but it is even more important to demonstrate curiosity, motivation and a genuine interest in the profession. If you find certain subjects difficult, KettenWulf offers support – for example with in-house English lessons or additional learning opportunities in technical areas. It is crucial that you are open to new things and willing to develop further.

Good preparation for the application and the interview will help you make a positive impression. Applicants who find out about the company, ask questions and present themselves confidently but genuinely have the best chances. It's not about being perfect – it's about showing that you are committed and enjoy your chosen profession.

When is the best time to apply?

Training at KettenWulf starts every year on 1 August. As many positions are filled early, we advise applying about a year in advance. All current deadlines and vacancies can be found on the website.

The interview

After reviewing the applications, suitable candidates are invited to the head office in Kückelheim for an interview. The purpose of the interview is to determine suitability for the job and for us to get to know each other. An application is not a one-way street – applicants also have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the company. Topics such as interests, school career, leisure activities and future aspirations come into play here.

A little tip: If you think of a few questions beforehand and write them down, you can go into the interview calmly, even if you are a little nervous. Nervousness is completely normal and part of the process.

Further opportunities to get to know KettenWulf

In addition to the traditional application, there are numerous ways to find out about training at KettenWulf. The company is regularly represented at training fairs, offers career taster days, internships and events such as Girls' & Boys' Day. It's always worth taking a look at the website to discover the latest dates and what's on offer.

With good preparation and genuine interest, nothing will stand in the way of a successful start to your professional future!
